Based on my personal life experience, then I applied text quote on these porcelain surface. Created in 2012, made from white porcelain, clear glaze, and cobalt text color.
These woodfired ceramic pendants were created in 2011, and fired in wood anagama kiln, that usually took about 2,5 - 3 days for firing. The natural colors appeared from the wood ashes and minimum glaze applied to the pendant surfaces. The colors will never be the same, as the natural ash from the wood painted them.
This time I experimented to combine ceramic with silver. The ceramics are handmade, fired in 1200 degree Celcius, some of then are glazed, unglazed, and glass applied. The silvers are handmade by Balinese craftsman. All designed exclusively.
Stoneware clay pendant, natural color, leaves decoration series. All are handmade. This series are very simple. you just tight up the leather cord around your neck, then enjoy your necklace:-)
